Our Story
The Old Knox Grammarians’ Philanthropic Foundation – OKGA SPARK – helps our community to navigate uncertainty with support, guidance, and connection.
By supporting those in need, set a clear course to overcome adversities, we remove the fear of the unknown and create clarity through connection.
Born from the ongoing brotherhood promoted at Knox Grammar and the Old Knox Grammarians’ Association, SPARK was founded to bring this same feeling of support to the broader community, so that no matter your challenge, you never need to face it alone.
The Problem The OKGA Philanthropic Foundation Solves
Not knowing what to do next or who to turn to for help leads to people imagining worst-case scenarios and catastrophizing their futures (anticipatory anxiety). This often leads to avoidance and/or deeper levels of anxiety which is most cases worsens their situation.
By helping our community face their challenges and develop a clear a path forward for them, we brighten their outlook by removing the fear of the unknown.
